아주 가끔은, 파란화면이 너무나도 그리워진다.
하이텔, 천리안, 나우누리, 유니텔까지.
이제는 꽤 크지만 그저 그런 기업들로 남았지만.
5년전만해도 그들의 입지는 통신업계뿐만아니라, 전반적인 네트워크의 중심에 있었다.
4대통신망의 로망,
이라고 불러도 손색없을만큼
넷티즌을 대표하는 곳이었다.
그러나, 지금은 어떤가.
디시인사이드의 "아햏햏"과 "수행"이 인터넷 전반적인 분위기 밑에 깔려있고,
정겹던 소모임과 동호회들은 Cafe라는 이름과 Blog를 통해 새로운 모색을 한다.
이제는 VT모드는 일종의 과거의 아스라한 추억 정도로 남게 되었다.

딱히 그다지 성공할것같지 않다.
왠지 서글퍼졌다.
그리고 그리워졌다.

전 아직 나우누리에서 잡팅을 하고 있는 사람중 하나지요.
주위분들이 아직 VT에 남아 있다라고나 할까요.
물론 게시판이나 동호회 활동은 멎어버린지 오래지만, VT만의 자반이나 명령어들은 아직 손 끝에 남아 있습니다.
익숙함을 버리는것은 힘든 것일까요. 아니면 새로운것을 찾기 싫어하는 고집일까요. 허허허...
밤을 세워도 이야기가 모자를 다른지역에 사는 형님들과, 친구들..언제나 이런저런 이야기로 시작해서 밤을 새우기 일쑤였다죠...
요즘 인터넷이 활성화되면서 부터 조금씩 뒷전으로 밀리긴 했지만, 그때의 정서만큼은 이루어 내지 못하고 있는듯 합니다.
점점더 급격하게 변화하고 온라인의 친분또한 그 두께가 매우 얇아진듯 해요....
마치 TV앞에서 리모콘으로 조금이라도 맘에 들지 않는 채널은 쉽사리 돌려버리는 것처럼...아쉬운 부분이 있다죠.
저도 하이텔의 파란화면이 그리울 때가 있어요...
그 때 한 동호회 게시판에 쓴 글들이 다 없어져 버려서... 무척 아깝기도 하구요
쓰고보니 썰렁한 농담이네요. ㅡ.ㅡ
go ~~~ 하고 이동하던 파란 화면과, 그 안에서 만났던 사람들..님 덕분에 다시 한번 떠올리게 되었네요..^^

정말 쫒겨나는 줄 알았답니다.
하지만 요즈음의 인터넷 게시판, 채팅과는 상당히 많은 차이를 보였지요.
전국 어디에 사는지도 모르는 분들과 릴레이 소설, 타자방, 퀴즈방, 고민상담, 잡담 등으로 밤을 지새워도 누구하나 욕설 내뱉지 않고 서로 헤어짐을 아쉬워 하던 그 시절 말입니다.
오프에서 만나면 정말 서먹서먹 했던 94년을 되돌이켜 봅니다.
^^;;
영퀴방을 제일 좋아했더랬습니다.(영화퀴즈방)
만화책 퀴즈방을 통해서 주옥같은 당시의 작품들을 발견하는 것도 참 즐거웠구요.
타자방에서 아무도 모르겠지 하며 마우스로 긁었다가 마침표가 나오자 금방 들켜 버린.. 그런 기억도 납니다.
5600bps 모뎀 사서 친구들에게 자랑하던 그 시절이 가끔씩 그리울 때가 있습니다.

통신망에서 인터넷쪽으로 점점 옮겨오면서 동호회중심이던 이전에 비해 개인중심으로 많이 바꿨죠. 블로그나 미니홈피까 그 대표격이 아닐까요... 그래서인지.. 예전의 파란화면들이, 텍스트로만 이루어진 머드게임들이 자꾸 그리워지는 것 같습니다. 서로 오순도순 얘길 나누던 때가 그리워요. ^^ 아마 이젠 다시 그 화면으로 돌아간대도 예전같아 질 수는 없을거란 기분이네요. 이미 개인만의 공간에 너무 익숙해져버린 것 같아요... 때때로 발전이란게 싫어질 때가 이런 경운거 같아요 제게는. ^^;;
통신 연결음 없애는 법을 몰라서, 엄마한테 걸릴까봐 접속할때마다 컴퓨터에 이불을 씌웠다던 친구녀석도 생각나는군요.
ㅎㅎㅎ

전 동호회 활동도 왠지 지금보다는 그때가 더 활발했었어요.

저는 검정화면에 밝은회색으로 설정해놨더랐는데..
정말 그때 좋았지요~~ 나우누리를 주로 애용했었는데..
작은 동호회 모임안에서 훈훈한 정을 나눴던 기억이 납니다..
지금의 신랑도 모임에서 만났는데.. 그 모임에서 다섯커플정도 탄생한거 같아요..
난잡하지도 않았고.. 모두다 형제같고 가족같았던..
그 훈훈함이 이 추운날을 녹여주네요.. 감사~

하이텔 안엔 꼭 저희만 남아있는 느낌이 들어요.
아무리 세대가 변해도 중학교때부터 써왔던 그 정다운 파란화면은 잊기 힘들것 같아요. ^^
너무나 익숙했던 모뎀연결음과 새롬데이타맨의 파란 화면.
분명 군대가기전까진 안그랬는데, 제대하고나니 딴세상이 되어있더라구요.
게다가 요금도 적당하고요.
이야기를 사용하고 있지요... ^^;;
얼마 전까지(9월)만해도 56k 모뎀으로 전화접속도 했지만,
나우누리에서 전화접속 서비스는 중지해서요.... ㅠ.ㅠ
감동중..;;;
이글루를 시작은 해놨지만 제대로 블로그에는 적응을 잘 못하고 있었거든요^^ 공감해주시는 분들이 많아서 저도 외로움이 한결 사라지네요.
저는 새롬 쓰다가 하이퍼터미널로 바꿨었죠. 그러다가 다시 새롬으로 바꾸고, 이야기는.. 2.1인가 하는 낮은 거 말고는 쓴 기억이 없네요.
2004년부터 그리워 하셨군요. 에휴- 시간 너무 잘 흘러요.
10년 후엔 어떤 느낌, 어떤 방식의 웹이 되어있을지..
